speeds where space is limited. This gear is commonly used in combination with
balance gear.

Blue Balance Gear is designed to widen the center of gravity allowing better
balance on very narrow surfaces. This gear can be used with Blue Turning, and
for overhead Turning.

Tail Hammer gear is designed as an offensive attack weapon. The Tail Hammer is
commonly seen in use by the Dragon Eyes. This gear works well with Green Ramming
Gear.

Psi Assist

Psi Assist Gear is designed as a control gear. This can allow the user to
control dragons and Human. Word Paynn is the only person who uses this on
Dragons or Humans.

This is not a standard gear type. We don’t see this one many times. It is in
“Opposing Force” and “Fanning the Flames”. This gear is only used by
Phistus, the Down City Council Leader.

Invisibility Gear
•
This gear is designed as attack gear. This gear is used to make a dragon
invisible. Combine it with Mind Control gear and you have a Wraith. Word is the
only person who uses this Gear.

Mind Control Gear
•
This gear is designed as control gear. The only known dragon to break from
it’s hold is Beau in “The Stand”. Word is the only person who uses this
Gear.
Brown
Bashing Gear

Bashing Gear is designed as dragon protection gear. This gear is often used for
tearing things down, moving through hash terrain and dragon jousting. We don’t
see this gear much.
Parm’s
Soldering Gear
•
This is not a standard gear type, but it is just as important. This gear can be
used for soldering, welding and cutting. Parm is the only person we see using
this gear, it appears in many episodes.

Green Deactivation Gear
•
Deactivation Gear has many uses. The common uses are breaking fentlocks, and
deactivating locks. The Dragon Eyes use this gear extensively for stealing
dragons. Lance has used this gear in “Three Times a Hero” to free Kitt.
